Assuring their fans, Heartland’s technical adviser, Christian Obi, has expressed confidence in the team’s ability to bounce back stronger for the second half of the 2023-24 Nigeria Premier Football League season.

Remaining optimistic, Obi believes that there is still much to demonstrate in the upcoming games of the campaign.

Currently positioned at the bottom of the NPFL table with 16 points, Heartland has faced two consecutive winless matches since Christian Obi’s comeback to the club.

Notably, the Imo State government has given Obi a five-game ultimatum.

Speaking in an interview, he stated, “The league remains open, and Heartland is not to be dismissed; no one can be certain of winning the league. We are committed to enhancing our performance in the remaining 19 matches to secure a commendable finish.”
