Iyabo Ojo, a Nollywood actress and entrepreneur, has responded to her dispute with fellow reality star and model, Faith Morey, on Real Housewives of Lagos.
In a weekend reaction, Iyabo Ojo defended herself against heavy criticism by pointing out that comparing a reality show to real-life situations is unfair.
She explained that she was simply playing the role of a villain and shed light on how reality shows operate.
According to Iyabo, she privately apologized to Faith after their public spat, but Faith Morey claimed that no apology was ever made.

The mother of two accused Faith Morey of desperately seeking fame and claimed that she wouldn’t have received any attention if she hadn’t played the role of a villain.
Iyabo added that Faith Morey and her followers should continue to bother themselves as she remains unfazed.
She said, “Sis, pay no mind to them. They are bullying victims seeking attention illegally. She is desperate for fame, willing to do anything. If I didn’t play the villain, she wouldn’t have received this attention. Let them bother themselves, it doesn’t bother me, my dear mother.”
Many commenters in the section criticized the actress, calling her a bully, and pointing out the irony of her defending someone who had been bullied until their death, in reference to Mohbad.
One commenter, Sauve Skin, wrote, “Iyabo likes to play god in people’s lives. Faith will be fine and famous even without her friendship. She’s always quick to unfollow even her friends, it’s like she thinks the follow button adds to someone’s account.”
Another commenter, Heyfey Zeeno, wrote, “She is desperate for fame by fire? The words of a bully! If she wanted fame, she could have pushed you when you stepped on her train. She remained calm all the way. So what are you talking about, and who doesn’t know Faith?”
Another commenter, Symply Cassy, wrote, “Aunty Iyabo became a villain so we could talk about her. Stop gossiping. You have nothing to tell me. I believe in Faith.”
Another commenter, Altre Ego, wrote, “This Iyabo woman has a lot of low self-esteem, bad character, and conceals it behind her ‘good deeds,’ which she only does for public validation.”
Another commenter, Zeeno David, wrote, “Iyabo is acting like a bully at this point.”
Another commenter, Cutie Rashy, wrote, “She is desperate for fame by force. Lol, as if you are the only one deserving of all the fame. The words of a bully!”
Another commenter, I Am Blecare, wrote, “Faith Morey has always been that girl even before the show. The fact that she’s not classless and vulgar doesn’t make her any less famous than you, Iyabo. You really need to calm down.”
Another commenter, Shylad, wrote, “Your true character is revealed in the reality show you participated in. Your explanations are not enough. Seasons one and two show the same type of person. So yeah, it’s not about being a villain, but your true nature came out.”
